Welcome to MW Cattle Co. & Genetics, a working cattle operation in the hills of Kentucky where practical cattle and common sense still matter. Our program centers around functional, profitable cattle developed through thoughtful breeding and hands-on management. While Simmental-influenced genetics form the backbone of our herd, you’ll also find commercial cattle, Scottish Highlands, and a few mini crosses that add personality—and occasionally mischief—to the pasture.
 
In addition to breeding cattle, we help producers build stronger herds through reproductive services, herd consulting, and our new Cow Sense: The Cattle Foundation Program, which teaches the fundamentals of cattle handling and management. We also host small farm events throughout the year that bring people together to learn, laugh, and spend time around good cattle.
 
Around here the philosophy is simple: raise better cattle, share what we’ve learned, and leave the land and livestock better than we found them.
